How can SCMs and CMs work with us?
By linking with our Regional and County Officials, SCMs and CMs can support the delivery of our national framework for competitions.
Existing data sources?
We can provide from our national database a list of both accredited and non-accredited clubs in the county area. Data is also available on coaches and officials.
For localised information on club competition structures and suitability of exit routes or personnel, our Regional and County Officials will be best placed to give you an accurate picture, combined with internet based national and local resource material.
Key work for SCMs/CMs in the next 12 months?
Following an initial pilot phase to September 2008 the next 12 months will focus on building partnerships with local fencing clubs as well as delivering Mini Fence sessions and competitions at KS 2 within clusters of schools. Over time this will lead into the development of Midi Fence leading to metal weapons and interschool competitions within School Sport partnerships at both primary and secondary ages.
